FENTASORB 531 is a benzophenone UV absorber with the highest cost-effectiveness on the market. It is an excellent and efficient anti-aging agent that can absorb ultraviolet light of 240-340nm (particularly strong at 270-330nm). It has the characteristics of light color, non-toxicity, good compatibility, low migration and easy processing.
Product Usage
It has the greatest protective effect on polymers and helps to reduce color difference, maintain gloss, delay yellowing and block physical property loss. It is widely used in PE, PVC, PP, PS, PC, plexiglass, polypropylene fiber and ethylene vinyl acetate. It also provides good light stabilization for dry phenolic and alkyd varnishes, polyurethanes, acrylics, epoxies and other resin system products, as well as automotive refinishing paints, powder coatings, polyurethanes, rubber products, etc. [1-2]. FENTASORB 531 has good compatibility with resins and low volatility. The general dosage is 0.1%-1%. It is mainly used in combination with hindered amine light stabilizers in LDPE and LLDPE of agricultural films and EVA copolymers. It can also be used in HDPE injection molding products, such as turnover boxes, to slow down the degradation of products caused by exposure to sunlight. At the same time, it can be used as a UV shielding agent to protect the contents of industrial and consumer packaging materials. In addition, FENTASORB 531 can be used in combination with antioxidants and light stabilizers to exert synergistic effects.
