additive is used in unsaturated polyester (UP) and vinyl ester (VE) resin systems to reduce the exothermic peaks during room temperature curing. In cobalt-accelerated systems, BYK-P 9929 can be used in combination with acetylacetone (-AAP) and methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP). This is similar to the curing of amine-accelerated resins with benzoyl peroxide (BPO). BYK-P 9929 has no influence on the final properties of the cured product. The additive is liquid and easy to add
